Volunteers Needed

Walmer lifeboat station is looking for new volunteers to help support lifeboat operations. Previous maritime experience is not necessary. Lifeboat station operations are supported by volunteers from all walks of life. Positions are not just required for lifeboat crew, shore helpers make a highly valued contribution. Walmer also boasts a significant number of female volunteers. Applicants need to be able to pass a medical examination, a fitness test and be between the age of 18 to 40.

Or drop in to Walmer lifeboat station on Tuesday evenings between 19:00 and 21:00 hrs, alternatively on Sunday mornings between 10:00 and 12:00 hrs.
