Fundraising

Fundraising is vital for the RNLI. Each year, thousands of volunteers lend their time and talents, taking part in all sorts of events including races, coffee mornings, beach football competitions, sponsored runs and running RNLI shops.

Walmer Lifeboat Shop

Walmer Lifeboat shop will be open from the Easter bank holiday through to December. Every year new lines are introduced. The shop offers a wide range of products from pens and pencils to clothing, coffee cups to calendars.

The shop year runs from Easter Saturday to to the last weekend before Christmas.

Hours of opening are:

Wednesday afternoon 2 to 4 p.m.

Thursday afternoon 2 to 4 p.m.

Friday afternoon 2 to 4 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday 10 to 4 p.m.

Bank holidays 1 to 4 p.m.

The shop also works with other fund raising events providing a service for coffee mornings, the RNLI Flag week and school visits.

All of this would not be possible without the support of Mary, Cath, Molly, Doreen, Peachy, Jenny, Pauline, Chris and Carole.
