Fundraising
Fundraising is vital for the RNLI. Each year, thousands of volunteers lend their time and talents, taking part in all sorts of events including races, coffee mornings, beach football competitions and sponsored runs.
Lifeboat Open Day 2006
Walmer lifeboats The Lord Kitchener D-Class lifeboat and the James Burgess B-Class lifeboat are joined by Dover's Severn Class lifeboat City of London II and its daughter boat Y-199 for Walmer lifeboat station's Open day in 2006. This event occurs yearly in June.
