Welcome to Walmer lifeboat website

This website was built with the help of the RNLI Emedia team and the Walker agency. It will be maintained on a part-time basis by the Walmer lifeboat crew. We aim to keep the content fresh with regular updates including latest rescues, fundraising news, training events and other events organised by the station and its supporters.

The site's success will be gauged on whether people make repeat visits on a regular basis. We hope we can keep you interested!

We encourage your feedback and contributions: perhaps a first-hand account of an event you witnessed involving the Walmer lifeboats, or maybe the recollections of a relative.
